The State of Texas requires that all students take or show exemption from an assessment test prior to enrolling in college-level courses in a public institution. Several options are available: THEA (formerly TASP), ASSET, COMPASS, or ACCUPLACER. If you have already taken one of these tests, or if you are exempt from testing, you must submit official documentation of your scores to the Office of Admissions.

New students will receive information about orientation and are highly encouraged to attend.
